Prime Strategies, LLC, a National Public Affairs Firm, Launches in Washington and New York
Miami, Florida – Prime Strategies, LLC a full-service public affairs firm with a focus on large states, multi-state engagements and global affairs, launched today in Washington, D.C. and New York. Prime Strategies will offer business consulting, public relations, crisis management, global affairs and government relations services with a national and international reach.
Prime Strategies is a natural outgrowth of Floridian Partners, a leading Florida-based public affairs firm that has performed multi-state and national work over the past few years.
“As clients increasingly asked us to work on multi-state and national engagements, we began to look outside Florida for top talent to grow that line of business,” said Patrick Maloy, Managing Partner of Prime Strategies. “Prime Strategies was formed for that purpose and Adam Sharon and Cecilia Norat are the ideal professionals to help us build our brand and deliver for our clients.”
The Washington, D.C. office will be managed by Adam Sharon, a top tier national security communicator, and practitioner. He most recently served as Communications Director for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee led by Ranking Member Ben Cardin (D-MD) and previously by Chairman Robert Menendez (D-NJ). He held the same role on the House Foreign Affairs Committee working for Ranking Member Eliot Engel (D-NY) and the former Chairman Howard Berman (D-CA). From 2006 to 2010, he worked for U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek (D-FL) in Congress and on his campaign for U.S. Senate in Florida. Adam received his M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies, and his B.A. from McGill University.

The New York Office will be managed by Cecilia Norat who possesses extensive experience in reputation management and government relations as the former Deputy General Counsel for the American Insurance Group (AIG) where she served as the insurance group’s liaison to the regulatory community globally. Cecilia is recognized for playing a key role in the early stages of the rescue of AIG during the financial crisis in 2008. Prior to joining AIG, she was the Executive Director of the New York State Insurance Fund. Cecilia received her J.D. and B.A. from Fordham University and has received multiple awards from the business and insurance community in New York.

In Florida, Prime Strategies will be co-located with Floridian Partners in their Miami and Tallahassee offices.
